American professional basketball player Patrick O’Neal Baldwin Jr., born November 18, 2002, plays for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors. He was a part of the 2017–18 team, which fell to Oshkosh North in the state championship game. Baldwin’s junior year saw him earn Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year honors for his 24.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game statistics. 

He was included to the rosters for the McDonald’s All-American Game, Jordan Brand Classic, and Nike Hoop Summit. Baldwin was a five-star recruit overall and one of the best players in the 2021 class. On May 12, 2021, he declined Duke and Georgetown’s invitations to play collegiate basketball for Milwaukee under the direction of his father. He was the youngest player to ever get an offer when he received it in his second year of high school.

He became the most highly regarded talent to ever sign with a Horizon League team. In his debut game, Baldwin led the team to a 75-60 victory over North Dakota with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Baldwin averaged 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as a rookie in a season hampered by injuries. On April 22, Baldwin issued a notification surrendering up his remaining college eligibility to join the 2022 NBA lottery. Baldwin was chosen by the Golden State Warriors with the 28th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draught.
