On July 21, 1988, Hyland DeAndre Jordan Jr. was born. He is basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the NBA. He was chosen for the first team All-Greater Houston, the third team Parade All-American, and two all-state teams. Jordan was rated as the eighth-best prospect overall, the second-best center in the nation, and the top prep player in Texas when he graduated from high school.
Jordan would decide to play basketball for Texas A&M in college. Jordan would start 21 games as a freshman at Texas A&M. He would average 7.9 points and 6.0 rebounds for the whole campaign. After finishing his season, he declared for the NBA draught and was chosen to the Big 12 All-Rookie team.
In the 2008 NBA Draught, the Los Angeles Clippers picked Jordan with the 35th overall choice. Jordan has played for the Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, and New York Knicks since entering the NBA. In 10 seasons in the league, he has averaged 9.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. Jordan and the Brooklyn Nets reached a four-year contract on July 6, 2019.
